Welcome to Screenhog.com! In the past, I've tried to make websites that look cool to showcase my stuff, but I've come across one irrefutable fact. I am not a webpage designer. However, I do like drawing stuff and animating stuff and games and music. So, I'm stuffing it all onto one page. We'll see what happens. |

I make games with Adobe Flash. Although my main passion is on the artistic side, games are a very fun side hobby, with which I have had mixed results. I plan to post games and game concepts here, mainly single-player puzzle/word games, since those are the puzzles that I enjoy the most (and if I make games that I won't play, who will?). Catch 22This game is a work in progress... it has the potential to be an interesting game if I can figure out a proper system of increasing difficulty during play, but for right now, it's a pretty boring game without much replay value. |

Here are some random samplings from my sketchbooks. This will mostly contain drawings that were either done purely for fun, or were part of larger ideas that never made it past the planning phase. (Click on the thumbnails for a larger image.) Scott McCloud mentioned a neat idea for creating characters in page 73 of his book "Making Comics". He described starting with a well-known theme or group of things, like chess pieces or the four seasons, and creating characters out of them in whatever direction you choose. Here are some of my attempts at that:
I highly recommend his book, by the way.

Have some questions? Maybe you can find the answer in the FAQ! (I highly doubt it.)
